New Message Board

I set up a new Official Message Board at PlasmaPool.freeforums.org The board is hosted by freeforums.org, which give free phpBB hosting with no ads and with mail support. However, they don't support backup yet, so please take into consideration that in a case of corruption/hacking - all your posts might be lost. I'll give it a test run and see how it goes. I set up a few initial categories and forums, but if you have any requests or suggestions, please feel free to let me know. I hope you'll find this board useful and I hope it won't be destroyed by spammers or hackers (I have no control over that, since I'm not hosting the board myself). In order to register, all you need to do is enter a username, E-mail, password and confirmation code (a simple math calculation to avoid automatic registration by a robot). You will then get an activation mail (if you don't get one - make sure your mail didn't throw it to the spam folder). I hope to reduce spams that way. If it doesn't work - I'll change it to "admin activation", in which I personally activate every new user registration.

Q&A with David Cronenberg

Last Thursday, The Directors Guild Theater in New York held a screening of the movie Eastern Promises, followed by a Q&A with director David Cronenberg, joined by Writer Steve Knight and Chief Curator of The Museum of the Moving Image David Schwartz. All for free. More about it on RopeOfSilicon.com On his official blog Darren says that he is a week away from commiting to the next project. Should be interesting.
